About us

This group meets on the Silver Leys trust near the Rugby Club on Hadham Road. The Group owns its own modern centre with use of lots of outdoor grounds. It caters for young people from around the town but mainly central and the north west of Bishop’s Stortford and is the nearest group to the new Stortford Fields area.

The group offers the full range of Scouting activities which includes a variety of indoor and outdoor activities like camping, hiking, and team based games, with a focus on personal development, community contribution, and making friends and caters for the ages of 4 to 14 years  with current numbers in excess of 150 members. One of the local Explorer Scout Units for 14 to 18 year olds also meets at these premises.
