We have an active and exciting local Network

What is Scout Network

Scout Network is the fifth section of Scouting and is for all young adults aged 18-25. Scouting exists to make young people’s lives better, helping them realise their full potential and make an impact on their community. Scout Network enables this to happen through a programme of projects and events divided into three Programme Areas: Adventure, International and Community.

As a member in Scout Network you can expect to have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of exciting projects and events with 20,000 other 18 to 25 year olds across the UK. You will have the chance to get involved in a variety of activities and can earn virtual badges for your contribution. Look at this national site for more information.

There also awards and virtual badges you could get... have a look here

So...... if you are aged between 18-25 and would like to continue to be involved in scout activities or would like to join in with like minded individuals then contact the District Scout Network Commissioner for Bishops Stortford, Sawbridgeworth and Much Hadham.

Leadership opportunity?

Do you want to help young adults flourish?

Could you help inspireg 18 – 25 year olds?

We are looking to increase our Scout Network adult facilitation team. The Unit  aims to be self-managing by the members and we are looking for people to coach and support the members to develop and implement their own programmes and activities. You would be someone with good age group communication skills and good facilitator. You need not be a “Scout” activity expert – there are other with those skills. You would also support events and activities as needed. There is little administration and you would need attend one meeting a week – in total about three to four hours of volunteering a week.
